Self-Doubt Detox for Moms: A Deep Dive

If parenting a teen has stirred up more anxiety than confidence, you’re not alone. This workshop is about you—your thoughts, your fears, and the stories you tell yourself about your child’s journey. Learn to separate your experiences from theirs, reframe worst-case thinking and trust you are enough.

Time & Location

May 18, 2025, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Franklin, 1126 Beech's Tavern Trail, Franklin, TN 37069, USA

About the event

Parenting a teen can bring up old fears, self-doubt, and the overwhelming urge to control what’s ahead. But what if your worry isn’t actually protecting your child—it’s just keeping you stuck? In this workshop, we’ll explore the internal narratives that fuel parental anxiety, untangle your child’s experience from your own emotional baggage, and shift from fear-based thinking to self-compassion. You’ll walk away with greater confidence, clarity, and the ability to let go of what you can’t control.

What to Expect:

  • Checking the Narrative: Identify and challenge the thoughts that fuel anxiety and self-doubt.

  • Untangling Past from Present: Recognize how your own teenage experiences shape the way you see your child’s challenges.

  • Releasing Worst-Case Thinking: Learn to stop spiraling into fear-based “what-ifs” and return to a more grounded perspective.

  • The Gift of Struggle: Reframe challenges as opportunities for growth, both for you and your child.
